Welcome to Wayfarer Havanese. We are a goal-driven, active show home, striving to improve Havanese qualities by selective breeding of Champion bloodlines, for health, excellent temperament, and proper AKC standard structure. Our dogs are family members that we show. For selective breeding purposes, we breed on a small scale.
Our parent Havanese are health screened; eyes tested and cleared by CERF, BAER tested for hearing, Cardiac tested for heart abnormalities, and patellas checked.
We specialize in the rare reds, which often show up in our litters.
Stud service is potentially available to qualified bitches who have been health tested the same.
Our puppies are born, nurtured, raised and socialized with adults, children, and other animals in our house, a loving home environment in Connecticut.
We help you select pet or show potential puppies to best suit your personality and family life style, as well as the best accommodating home for our puppies. Once our puppies are adopted, you become our extended family, and we will support you and the puppy throughout its lifetime if you let us.
We also place some of our best puppies in “Guardian” homes to qualified families. Let us know if you are interested in being a Guardian family.
